Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie and the District of Algoma partnered with Crime Stoppers programs including Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers earlier this year to launch a public awareness campaign with our housing partners.
During the campaign, Crime Stoppers has provided our partners with carabiners and other promotional material that they will distribute to new clients as they move into their housing. This initiative is reaching from Elliot Lake to Hornepayne and all the areas in between. Crime Stoppers will also work with our partners to provide presentations upon their request.
This initiative has a focus on creating new partnerships, educating the public, and ultimately preventing and solving crime in our community.
Crime Stoppers is currently working with Algoma District Services Administration Board, Garden River Housing Department, Sault Ste. Marie Housing Corporation, and Phoenix Rising Non Profit Homes and Women's Centre.
If you would like to partner with Crime Stoppers on our Education and Awareness Initiative please proceed to email info@saultcrimestoppers.com.
